Justice share NSFW video for 'Generator': Watch

The unveiling of the visual comes ahead of the release of new album 'Hyperdrama' in April

The "humanoid robots" of Justice new music video

Justice have shared a video for new song 'Generator'. Watch it below.

The NSFW visual, which you can watch below, aims to blur the lines between humans and machines, and depicts a sexual partnership between two humanoid robots. The video's concept is the joint work of Justice themselves and director Léa Ceheivi.

"I think we were excited about the idea of replicating a phenomenon from the 2000s, such as a sextape, but with a twist," said Ceheivi in a statement about the video. "The rough aesthetic of it, the lack of control. So yes, in our world, AI robots can also have sex, and orgasm – 'la petite mort'."

'Generator' appears on Justice's forthcoming album, 'Hyperdrama', which Ed Banger Records and Because Music will release on 26th April. The duo originally shared the track, as well as the Tame Impala-featuring cut 'One Night/All Night', when the album was first announced last month.

Speaking about the song, Justice previously said: "To us, this one sounds like 'Getaway' by The Salsoul Orchestra, but with gabber and classic '90s techno sounds. We love all kinds of music that don't really appear in Justice. But I would say that the main two types of music that coexist since the beginning are disco funk and more electronic music. And particularly on 'Generator', we make them coexist, but not really in a peaceful way. We like this idea of making them fight a bit for attention."

'Hyperdrama' will mark the fourth studio album from the Parisian duo, and the first since 2016's 'Woman'. Despite teasing new material on a couple of occasions since then, a 2021 solo album from the group's Gaspard Augé has been the only new project to materialise.

News that the duo would be emerging from their five-year hiatus was revealed in June 2023 by Ed Banger label founder, Pedro Winter (AKA Busy P).
