Justice release new single, ‘Incognito’: Listen

The French duo are set to play Coachella next month

Justice release new single, ‘Incognito’

Justice has released a new track, 'Incognito'. Give it a listen below.

The new single is taken from the duo’s upcoming LP, 'Hyperdrama', set for release April 26th via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. It will mark the group's fourth studio album and their first full-length release in eight years.

This latest single follows January’s announcement when the legendary French duo – comprised of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay – shared details of the upcoming album with fans, alongside the release of two singles: 'One Night/All Night (starring Tame Impala)' and 'Generator', which comes accompanied by a NSFW video starring two humanoid robots.

Speaking on the new track, Justice said: “Like many songs on this record, it switches from all electronic to all human music abruptly, multiple times within its four-minute run. The structure is dictated by what feels good at the moment it happens, without necessarily following any other rule.”

They went on to share that when starting work on the new record, they had to “unlearn everything they thought they knew” about song structures and “music in general”, which they described as “very refreshing.”

Back in June 2023, Ed Banger label founder Pedro Winter (AKA Busy P) announced that the group would be ending their five-year hiatus. He later revealed that the forthcoming LP gives him the same goosebumps as when he first heard the duo’s landmark debut, ‘Cross’.

During their hiatus, Justice celebrated their fifteen-year milestone with reissues, including a deluxe edition of their debut album '†', fresh vinyl pressings of their 2008 live record 'A Cross the Universe', and the Dior soundtrack 'Planisphere', released in the same year.

While the release date and artwork for 'Hyperdrama', designed by Anton Tammi (known for his work on The Weeknd’s 'After Hours'), have been confirmed, additional details such as the full tracklisting remain undisclosed. Justice's performance at this summer's Coachella festival has also been confirmed, and they are set to embark on a tour across Europe next month. See the full list of tour dates below.
