KaySoul releases ‘10 Ways’ remix EP on Dealt With Records: Listen
The Johannesburg deep house artist invites Narf Zayd & Mario Casares and Offshore and Coen to rework the tune
KaySoul has released a two-track remix EP of his track, ‘10 Ways’, via Dealt With Records. Listen to it below.
The track, which features keys by Steve Faets, originally appeared on the Johannesburg deep house DJ and producer’s ‘What Is Blackness’ EP for Shall Not Fade earlier this year. It has now been given the remix treatment by Granada’s Narf Zayd, with additional saxophone by Mario Casares, and The Hague duo Offshore and Coen.
The spirit of pioneering deep house artist Larry Heard is felt deeply across KaySoul’s catalogue – take his ‘Frequency Rays of One Cosmic’ EP from February this year for example – and both the original cut and remixes of ‘10 Ways’ reflect that beautifully.
