Leftfield announce vinyl reissues of first two albums featuring remastered audio

Leftfield are giving their 1995 debut 'Leftism' and 1999's follow-up 'Rhythm And Stealth' fresh double-vinyl pressings, out 19th May.

The influential UK duo of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley previously reissued their seminal debut in 2017 with a remastered triple-vinyl reissue and tour for the LP's 22nd anniversary. 'Rhythm And Stealth' hasn't been repressed on wax since 2010.

Leftfield, now led by cofounder Neil Barnes, will celebrate the reissues with a nearly sold-out UK tour, kicking off on 18th May at London's Steel Yard and wrapping up at Belfast's Mandela Hall on 16th June. Tickets for the Sheffield, Wolverhampton and Newcastle dates are still available.

Last year, Barnes released the first Leftfield album since 2015's 'Alternative Light Source'. Titled 'This Is What We Do', the 11-track LP was produced with long-time studio and mix engineer Adam Wren.

In 2019, Ben Cardew examined 'Leftism''s impact on post-rave Britain as part of DJ Mag's Solid Gold series.
