As deftly mixed as we’d expect from a man who was among the first to champion three-deck mixing, it features a host of astutely chosen cuts, with established names such as Riva Starr, Eats Everything, Booka Shade and Anja Schneider rubbing shoulders with fledgling acts like Tom Cole, Fabio Neural and Chris Coe.
Cox’s Essential Mix marks the broadcast’s 25th anniversary this year, kicking off celebrations in 2018.
