New 92-track compilation will raise funds for Kurdish resistance in Northern Syria

Featuring Eomac, ANFS, Ngly, Xhin, Olivia and many more

A new 92-track compilation will raise funds for Kurdish resistance in Northern Syria.

Set for release via Kashev Tapes in co-operation with Polish collective Oramics on February 10th, the compilation is titled 'Sonic Resistance: A Compilation For Rojava'. It will feature tracks by the likes of Eomac, ANFS, Ngly, Xhin and Olivia.

With all proceeds from the album to be donated to Foundation Of The Free Woman in Rojava, the compilation is a self-proclaimed "call for maintaining the international solidarity with the revolution in Rojava. It is a musical interference against the imperialist war machinery, against capitalism. It is campaigning to raise awareness about the struggle of the Kurdish freedom movement."

Kashev Tapes continued: "The Kurdish resistance is advocating for women’s equality, LGBTQIA rights, ecology, sustainability, and democratic confederalism. It has created its own strategies outside western political pressure. The Turkish invasion is not only destroying lives, but also extinguishes any hope for substantial change."
