A new app designed to match music from your Spotify playlists with vinyl available to buy online has been launched.

Once you've logged in with your Spotify details, Record Radar will scan music you've added to your Spotify playlists and then find records containing those tracks and point you in the direction of where you can purchase them via Discogs. It will only scan playlists that you have created yourself.

You can then add these records to your Discogs wantlist or collection, and sort them by a number of factors including media condition and format. Find more information on the app here.

An iOS app called Disco FM was also recently launched with the intention of helping record diggers find audio clips for records in front of them in shops.

Spotify recently shared financial figures from its final fiscal quarter of 2018. Read Beatport's CEO discussing why the age of streaming feels like "the dawn of a new DJ experience" here.
