Pet Shop Boys and New Order announce co-headline tour

The 11-date 'Unity Tour' runs across North America throughout September

Pet Shop Boys and New Order have announced a co-headline tour.

The two British electronic bands will kick off the 'Unity Tour' on 5th September in Toronto.

The 11-date tour also includes shows at Madison Square Garden in New York and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Pet Shop Boys released their new album 'Hotspot' in January. The 10-track record is the duo's first studio album since 'Super' in 2016.

The legendary synth-pop duo, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, joined The Killers on stage at last year's Glastonbury as well as releasing a collaborative track with Years and Years.

In January trance trio Above & Beyond put their spin on New Order's 1983 cult hit 'Blue Monday'.

Last year Minimal Wave records boss Veronica Vasicka picked New Order's '586' as one of 10 records that have inspired her.
