Pet Shop Boys greatest hits concert at Royal Arena Copenhagen to show in cinemas next year

Pet Shop Boys are to mark their 40th anniversary year in 2024 with the release of a concert film depicting a show from their first-ever greatest hits tour.

'Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen' was captured during a performance at the titular venue in Copenhagen earlier this year, and will debut in cinemas worldwide on 31st January and 4th February, 2024.

Classic songs such as 'West End Girls', 'Rent' and 'Suburbia' appear across the set. The film was directed by filmmaker David Barnard in 4K, and captured across 14 cameras.

Tickets for the cinematic experience will go on sale here on 6th December, while you can watch a clip from the film ahead of its 2024 premiere below.

Pet Shop Boys' greatest hits tour will continue with five further dates in 2024.

Earlier this year, a limited edition vinyl box set of Pet Shop Boys' album ‘Electric’ sold for $2,243 on Discogs

Back in October, the duo claimed that the chorus of their 1986 classic ‘West End Girls’ was used by Drake without permission or credit in his track, 'All The Parties'. Writing on X, formerly Twitter, the UK duo said: "Surprising to hear Drake singing the chorus of “West End girls” in the track “All the Parties” on his new album. No credit given or permission requested."
