Nicolás Jaar announces new album, ‘Cenizas’, shares single: Listen
The Chilean producer and composer's first album under his own name since 2016's 'Siren'
Nicolás Jaar has announced a new album, ‘Cenizas’, and shared the single ‘Sunder’.
The acclaimed Chilean producer and composer last brought out a full length release under his own name in 2016, the 'Siren' LP. In January this year he delivered the '2017-2019' record, which was credited with his alias, Against All Logics, featuring collaborations with the resurgent FKA Twigs, whose new album Jaar also co-produced, and no wave punk icon-cum-poet, writer and actress Lydia Lunch.
‘Cenizas’ will land on Jaar's own Other People imprint on 27th March. Last week we revealed news that the man in question will join the likes of SOPHIE, The Bug, Aïsha Devi, Buttechno and Emptyset at Urvakan, a new festival in Armenia's capital city, Yerevan, which will hold its programme in an abandoned science institute among other locations.
