Paris club Dehors Brut to reopen after forced closure by police

It was forced to close early last month following an alleged drug-related death outside the club

Paris club Dehors Brut is set to reopen this weekend.

The club, which was opened by the team behind Concrete in July following that venue's closure over the summer, was forced to close by local police on September 6th following an alleged drug-related death outside the club on August 31st. Police asked that the club be closed until further notice just four hours before they were due to open for a party on September 6th forcing organisers to cancel all planned future events.

The club was originally supposed to open for three months only though no exact closing date was set. It's not known whether the closure over the last four weeks has affected future plans, but the team behind Dehors Brut said that they were "happy and relieved" to be reopening.

Dehors Brut will reopen on Saturday, October 5th with a showcase by the Yoyaku label featuring Cabanne and Varhat. Motor City Drum Ensemble, Margaret Dygas and more are all locked in to play the following weekend.
