Will they SURVIVE THE NIGHT...

Pharrell Williams is reportedly producing a film adaptation of young adult novel SURVIVE THE NIGHT. The book follows a group of female college students trapped inside an underground warehouse rave on Halloween night.

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, GIRLS TRIP writer Tracy Oliver has been recruited by Warner Bros. to write and direct the film. Mimi Valdes, plus Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Dutton of Alloy Entertainment, will assist in production of the flick which sees the group of fictional females fighting for their lives against a mysterious attacker. According to reports, music will be a large component of the story.

Williams and Valdes formerly worked together on the biographical film HIDDEN FIGURES.

Last week, Williams jumped into the world of dynamic instruments with an investment in ROLI.
