Fearful drops his debut album 'Interference' via Diffrent Music this Friday, and we've nabbed 'Recall', a rowdy halftime collab with Lakeway, for an exclusive first listen.
The alter ego of producer Chris Murray, Fearful has been a staple of the Diffrent roster since releasing his breakthrough track 'Tongues' on the label back in 2013.
The Brightonian-turned-Londoner is primarily known for his drum & bass output, but he's never been one to stick to rigidly to a genre. His forthcoming LP encapsulates this perfectly, offering techy d&b steppas, glitchy techno, ambient and more.
Our pick of the bunch is 'Recall', however, produced alongside Lakeway, who himself cut his teeth on Diffrent before recently signing to Hospital Records sister label, Med School.
Leading in with glassy atmospherics, the track soon erupts into a growling, bass-driven monster, peppered with eeries samples and clunky percussion. This one was built to shake systems so crank it up loud!
