Raji Rags has announced his debut EP, 'Congratulations' and shared its lead single 'Kiran's Bike'. Stream it below.

The London DJ, NTS mainstay and co-founder of hip-hop party Livin' Proof will release 'Congratulations' on 30th April via his label OTIH Records. According to its press release, the EP "spans breakneck percussive rhythms across five tracks, melding together string arrangements and orchestration with hip-hop methodology."

The EP features Raven Bush and Peter Bennie of OTIH label mates Speakers Corner Quartet on three tracks, as well as a collaboration with Taiwanese producer, Sonia Calico on 'Bullet Train'. “Collaboration has been key on this record,” said Raji Rags. “It’s been essential to my process.”

Marking the announcement, the British-South Asian polymath - real name Raj Chaudhuri - has shared lead single 'Kiran's Bike', featuring Raven Bush on violin.

Having created parts of the EP in Taipei around the time of his son's Kiran's birth, the producer describes the single as “a perfect soundtrack” to his “bike rides around South London”. Stream it below.

'Congratulations' will be released digitally and as a limited run, hand-screen printed vinyl. Pre-order and stream it here.
