Reinier Zonneveld has won the Highest New Entry award in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2022, entering the poll at No. 49.

With ingenuity and improvisation acting as constant guides, techno DJ and producer Reinier Zonneveld has carved a niche for himself outside of the box (quite literally) and he’s absolutely thriving.

Hailing from the Netherlands, 2022 marks not only Zonneveld's first time in the Top 100 poll, but also the busiest career of his year to date.  “Playing over 20 live shows a month all around the world, producing music in the little time in between, curating and pushing new music on my label, Filth on Acid," he tells DJ Mag, "and finally launching my own one-man festival in Amsterdam after having to postpone it twice."

1.3 million votes were counted from 243 countries in this year’s Top 100 DJs poll. Among the smaller territories who participated, we received votes from St Kitts & Nevis, Djibouti, Micronesia, Isle of Man, Palau, the Falkland Islands, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Tuvalu, Montserrat, and even a vote from the Vatican City, demonstrating the truly global reach of the Top 100 DJs poll.
