Richie Hawtin announces new audiovisual album, ‘Close Combined’: Listen
The album is available now
Richie Hawtin has released a new A/V album.
Following the announcement of his interactive app, CLOSER, which allows fans a chance to see his CLOSE live show up-close and deconstruct it, the British-Canadian DJ has shared the next step in his CLOSE live series, ‘CLOSE COMBINED (GLASGOW, LONDON, TOKYO - LIVE).
The A/V album is presented in a three-panel vertical layout allowing the viewer to gain different perspectives for the live show; crowd view, stage set-up and equipment, and was created with Hawtin's long-term collaborator and project visual editor, Ali M. Demirel.
‘CLOSE COMBINED (GLASGOW, LONDON, TOKYO - LIVE)' features music from Charlotte de Witte, Edit Select and Kaiserdisco, with a 15-track audio version and 18 tracks available through the album's video version in the CLOSER app.
