SBTRKT and Toro Y Moi collaborate on new single, 'Days Go By': Listen
It appears on forthcoming album 'The Rat Road', which is out in May
SBTRKT has released a new track, 'Days Go By', made in collaboration with Toro Y Moi.
It's the latest cut to be shared from forthcoming album 'The Rat Road', which was announced in March together with the release of the Teezo Touchdown-featuring single 'Waiting'.
'The Rat Road' will be SBTRKT's first full-length record since his 2016 non-album compilation of songs, 'Save Yourself'. Following the release of his self-titled debut album in 2011, he went on to put out 'Wonder Where We Land' via Young in 2014.
Speaking about 'The Rat Road' when it was announced, SBTRKT said: "This album has been my most sonically ambitious record to create – following my own musical path – which isn't based on others' perceptions of what SBTRKT should be. 'The Rat Road''s title is a play on the concept of 'the rat race'.
"It's partly based on my own challenging experiences within the music industry and life generally – though I realised the idea is not isolated from a much wider feeling of exhaustion."
