Sinistarr brings the bass-weight on 'Yo Speakerz feat. Detroit's Filthiest': Premiere

Sinistarr teams up with fellow Motor City talent Detroit's Filthiest for new track 'Yo Speakerz', forthcoming on Leipzig's Defrostatica Records.

Also featuring work from Kiat, Kabuki and Homesick, the label's new 'Rogue Style 1' EP charges each artist with celebrating b-boy culture, creating cross-pollinations of drum & bass, juke and hip-hop.

"As a teenager I grew up as a b-boy, dancing anywhere I could: schools, parks, festivals, you name it, my crew was there with cardboard and a speaker," explains Sinistarr in the press release. "I eventually got deeper into DJing and making music and learned to bring a sound that's not just for the crowds and the purists, but also for all the dancers!"

Blending booming bass with chopped vox and a lazy beat, the Detroit producer's oozes swagger, but still packs a punch on the dancefloor. Check it out below and pre-order a copy via the Defrostatica Bandcamp ahead of its release on 19th May.
