Skrillex is set to return with new music as soon as October, according to OWSLA associated audio engineer Randy Urbanski.

Skrillex’s label celebrated its seventh birthday last week, and Urbanski posted a series of Instagram stories to mark the occasion.

A caption on one of the posts, which accompanied a picture of Skrillex performing at XS in 2015, read, “Time flys [sic] when you’re having fun. And this year was slow. Can’t wait till this guy is back changing the game next month.”

You can see a screen grab of the full post below. Urbanski has previously worked with Skrillex, as well as Beyoncé and Katy Perry.

Last month (August), OWSLA artist Josh Pan said that Skrillex is “about to put out some crazy music”. That was before Skrilly shared a clip from inside his new studio.

Skrillex also announced his first US festival performance since 2016 last month. You can check out 10 moments that defined the No. 16 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll here.
