TYGAPAW has released a new album, 'love has never been a popular movement', on fabric Originals. You can listen to tracks from the record below.
The New York-based DJ, producer, and community leader has already dropped three singles from the sophomore record; 'MYSM', 'PRESSURE', and 'GLAMOUR Riddim', with the latter featuring George Riley. Their second full-length effort also includes a collaboration with LSDXOXO, 'SK9 (Release Me)'.
In total, eight tracks are included on the LP, which is focused on atmospheric techno and East Coast club sounds, while taking inspiration from TYGAPAW's high-energy live sets, Jamaican heritage and role in creating spaces and platforms for LGBTQIA+ artists and audiences in NYC. In support of the release, TYGAPAW will play a number of high profile festival dates this summer, including Melt Festival, Germany (8/6), Secret Garden Party, UK (23/7), and France's Cabaret Vert (16/8).
