Xilent performs first real-time VR DJ set

The event took place at Unite Copenhagen last month

Dubstep producer Xilent has performed the first fully live immersive VR concert. The Monstercat affiliate performed live via the VRJAM, a platform app for immersive VR and augmented reality and performances. Using custom-built CGI content, VRJAM and Xilent created a live DJ set for fans to watch inside a virtual nightclub environment, streamed via Agora. It's a glimpse into the potential future of live performance – fans were invited to participate via a custom-built app that works with any VR headset.

Once you're in, you're visible to other participants via a dancing avatar on the dancefloor. Watch the video below to catch a glimpse of the performance.
