JUDGE ORDERS TIME WARP ORGANISERS TO TESTIFY AFTER DEATHS AT BUENOS AIRES FESTIVAL

Five people died of drug overdoses at the event

Time Warp’s local promoters have been ordered to appear in front of a judge following drug-related deaths at the Argentinian festival.

Five people died from drug overdoses and another four were taken to hospital critically ill during the Buenos Aires event on April 15.

Federal judge Sebastian Casanello is now pursuing several personnel at promoter Dell Producciones for the negligent deaths, according Billboard.

Some 30 people are reported to have been called to testify including DP attorney Maximilliano Avila and Carlos Maria Garat, who was in charge of the site’s evacuation plan, reports The Costa Rica Star.

The government of Buenos Aires have stopped issuing permits for electronic music festivals in response to the deaths.

Time Warp started in Germany in 1994 and was held for the third year running at Argentinian capital.
