DRUMS OF DEATH: WAVES ODYSSEY

The highly anticipated final installment of ‘Waves Odyssey’.

Scotland's electronic warlord Colin Bailey, AKA Drums of Death, has delivered the final installment of ‘Waves Odyssey’  a double A-sided release, 'This Night/Bang The Dub' (out 18th March).

Crossing garage/house and techno, the two tracks follow the 'Waves' trilogy as reworks of stand-out tracks ‘Waves City’ ('Blue Waves EP') and ‘Bang the Drum’ ('Red Waves EP') into dub form.

‘This Night (Waves Dub)' has high energy momentum, inflicting big room adrenaline through pulsing basslines and a succinct high hat. With a full-on 4/4 set against reverberating rushes, it's fist-pumping territory. On the flip, ‘Bang the Dub’ is far heavier, more techno enthused with echoing trash-can-dub styles and razor-sharp synths.

Recently recruited by Sony EMI’s publishing arm, hushed collabs with lady of the moment Azealia Banks, legend Paul Epworth and Yasmin reveal one voodoo badman heavily in demand.
