CAFE MAMBO CELEBRATES ITS 20TH BIRTHDAY

Legendary Ibiza hotspot holds huge anniversary party

Café Mambo have announced the line-up for an opening party that marks its 20th year as one of Ibiza’s best-loved sunset party destinations. This Friday May 16th will see the first in a series of commemorative parties, welcoming the likes of John Digweed, MK and DJ Syx to usher the club into its third decade.

The seminal establishment has stood at the forefront of Ibiza’s sunset club culture since 1994. Situated on the sunset strip in San Antonio, the club has hosted some of the island’s most significant day and night gatherings, including the annual BBC Radio 1 Weekend and the renowned Pre-Pacha parties.

Seeing the club through the Friday night celebrations will be house legend and Bedrock label boss John Digweed, who is no stranger to the picturesque surroundings. Joining him will be MK, the genius behind some of Ibiza’s biggest anthems — including his recent remix of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’.

Pacha’s own DJ Syx will also contribute to the proceedings along with a host of Mambo summer residents to make this an opening party that will ring true to the club's long and colourful history.

Over 23 million visitors and a large portion of the world's finest DJs have graced the shores of Café Mambo during its career. Owner Javier Anadon said: “Sunset after sunset, year after year, we have shared great moments, have made great memories and have built friendships to last. What once started as a small sunset bar has grown to be a staple in the electronic music world.”

Viva Café Mambo!
