Printworks locks DJ Koze, Artwork, Erol Alkan, more for New Year’s Day
Printworks has locked DJ Koze, Artwork and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs for the venue's New Year’s Day party.
The names don't stop there, either. The London address will host the unarguably exciting prospect of a b2b between Phantasy Sound bossman Erol Alkan, who just unveiled his first solo material in five years, and acclaimed Israeli duo, Red Axes.

The Phantasy Sound bossman unveiled an edited version of 'Silver Echoes' last week, which will officially arrive on Friday 9th November, via his imprint.
Hackney Arts Centre announces line-up for relaunch in September
Details of the September relaunch of the venue formerly known as Hackney Arts Centre have been revealed.
Field Day is leaving its London home of Victoria Park in 2018
Much-loved London festival Field Day is leaving its long-term home of Victoria Park in 2018.
The new location is still under wraps, but the 2018 edition will be taking place over the weekend of Saturday 2nd June.
Field Day is renowned as an eclectic festival with electronic music very much at its core. The first ever Field Day in August 2007 featured then Trash resident Erol Alkan and Electreland among others.

Daft Punk get an Erol Alkan remix
Daft Punk’s ‘The Brainwasher’ is set to receive an Erol Alkan ‘Horrorhouse Dub’ rework. The remix is one of 20 set to appear on Alkan’s ‘Reworks Volume 1’ release.
Alkan has chosen cuts from across the musical spectrum to contort, with indie rock (Tame Impala, Hot Chop, Franz Ferdinand, Yeah Yeah Yeah) representing a significant portion of the collection. Edits of Lindstrøm and Justice also made the discs.
A remixer of his own caliber, Alkan will be taking a unique production approach to each selection.
Motor City Drum Ensemble is XOYO London's next resident
XOYO London's next resident has been revealed as Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble today (Monday 21st August), with the German disco selector set to take over on Fridays from October to December.
MCDE is set to replace Erol Alkan's To The Rhythm party on 13th October as the fourth DJ in XOYO's long-running residency series that sees a different DJ take over the club for three consecutive months on Friday nights, whilst inviting special guests to join them in the booth each week.

Erol Alkan is set to takeover from The Black Madonna as XOYO’s new resident. The Friday weekly begins 7th July and runs through until 29th September.
Dubbed “To The Rhythm”, Dan Beaumont and Peaches (live) have been tapped to perform during the debut party.
EROL ALKAN LAUNCHES ROLLING SPOTIFY PLAYLIST TO HONOUR CLUBNIGHT TRASH: LISTEN
Erol Alkan has compiled an ongoing Spotify playlist of classic tunes from much-loved London clubnight Trash, the party he was resident DJ at from '97 to 2007.
The playlist includes tracks from Brian Eno, Sisters of Mercy, LCD Soundsystem and many more — the music has been compiled by Erol this time round, but will hopefully see selections from fellow Trash residents Rory Phillips and The Lovely Jonjo as its updated.
