Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko's latest collaboration will finally be released, and fans only have to wait until this Friday, 20th October, to get their hands on the wares.
The track, 'Forever', has been a regular fixture in Garrix's sets over the summer, hence the hype surrounding when it would finally be made available. It's the fourth time he has teamed up with Matisse & Sadko.
Zedd's Echo Tour kicked off at the end of September, with the opening night in Vancouver. Since then, the EDM pin up has hit Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston, and we've got the video evidence to prove he knows how to put on a show.
Official footage from Chicago's Aragon Ballroom has been released online, giving fans an opportunity to watch 90minutes of roof-raising sounds, lights, and atmosphere. Think the euphoria of his remix of Magic's 'Rude' descending into tough driving hoovers and an array of lasers, and you're in the right ball park.
Will Smith has revealed he’s got 30 new songs ready with his long-standing musical collaborator, DJ Jazzy Jeff.
VINAI is an Italian EDM project consisting of two brothers, Alessandro and Andrea Vinai. After forming in 2011, they came to prominence in 2012 courtesy of a string of well-received remixes for the likes of LMFAO (for whom they put a new spin on ubiquitous chart-topper 'Sexy & I Know It') as well as the queen diva of pop, Nicki Minaj.
Further remixes followed for the likes of Steve Aoki, David Guetta, The Chainsmokers and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and as you’d imagine from a roll-call like that, the guys are very much hot property when it comes to EDM.
Remixes aside, VINAI also possess the Midas touch when it comes to their originals. Tracks such as 'Bounce Generation' and 'Legend' are proof of the fact, but it was barnstorming appearances at Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival that really set the guys on the course to greatness and cemented their place at EDM’s top table. So where do the guys conjure up all the “crazy energy” they bring to their sets and productions? It just comes from our “crazy minds”, says Alessandro. We don’t doubt that one bit.
Although he’s better known for his movies these days, it’s worth remembering that Will Smith has also enjoyed a stellar career in music, with a string of hits to his name such as “Just The Two of Us”, “Wild Wild West” and the feel-good classic that is “Summertime”.
Now that he’s conquered Hollywood, it seems the Men in Black star is intent on returning to music, with the EDM scene his destination of choice. And so it is that we’ve been introduced to his new track, ‘Get Lit’, a big-room collaboration with Jazzy Jeff that’s unlikely to go down in the history books...
U.S. DJ superstar Diplo returned to his BBC Radio 1 slot over the weekend with another session full of musical gems.
The Mad Decent boss and sometime Major Lazer and Jack Ü man’s shows are always filled to the brim with exciting music, and his latest was a case in point.
Festival season may be over at this rate, but it seems Hardwell and Afrojack are yet to get the memo. Clearly inspired by the summer months just gone, the boys have only gone and released ‘Hands Up’, an absolutely crazy track that - you guessed it - has been produced with the festival season in mind.
Martin Garrix dropped three new tracks at Austin City Limits this weekend, as the double weekender, which featured in the epic Live Nation 'festival passport' we reported on earlier this the year, kicked off with a serious display of EDM bigness.
No one is safe from the scorn of Liam Gallagher. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone to promote his new album, 'As You Were', he was asked what he thought of EDM — and he didn't mince his words.
"Is that, like, dance music? Like Calvin Harris? Fuck that. Devil's music, that is," he said.
'The Martin Garrix Show', Season 2, Episode 7 has just been released online, following on from the last instalment in which he hit Palm Springs.
This time round, the EDM superstar's life-on-film series gives viewers the chance to see him on the morning of Coachella festival. Three years earlier he performed at the event as a relative newcomer, but now finds himself front and centre as one of the biggest names on the bill.
