Dockyard Festival returns to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on Saturday 21st October. Sven Väth, Âme, Eats Everything, Ben Sims, Kirk Degiorgio, and Octave One are among those to take over the decks during the 12-hour event.
Returning for the third year in a row, the Dockyard Festival is honoured to test the virgin facilities of N1-Park in Westpoort. The lush park was commissioned by the Amsterdam government to host similar international evets.
During an interview with Billboard Magazine — where he looks back on his 20-year career — Dutch superstar Tiësto has admitted it was a chance encounter with Sven Väth that inspired him into a life of music and DJing.
"When I was in the scene first, I heard a DJ from Germany play [named] Sven Väth, and I listened to him for six hours and there was not one single record I recognised," explained Tiësto.
Taking place earlier this month in the picturesque surrounds of Switzerland's Crans-Montana resort, the 14th edition of Caprices festival took place.
The much-loved festival hosted over 30 striking electronic artists throughout four jam-packed days of programming, with acts including Sonja Moonear, Franky Greiner, Cassy, Adriatique, Dorian Paic and Ricardo Villalobos all on the bill. Other headliners include tINI, Apollonia, Dana Ruh, Seth Troxler and Marco Carola, alongside techno don and Cocoon bossman, Sven Väth.
Cocoon Ibiza has revealed the line-up for its 2017 season, which runs for 14 Mondays from 29th May at Amnesia Ibiza.
Joining Cocoon Ibiza head honcho Sven Väth as residents will be Ricardo Villalobos, who spins 6 exclusive shows across the summer.
The Chilean minimal master will also be joined by Adam Beyer (seven shows), Nina Kraviz (5 shows) and Ilario Alicante (seven shows).
Cocoon Ibiza’s 18th season will also see Seth Troxler, Âme, Rødhåd, Ben Klock, Raresh, Solomun, Craig Richards, Ben UFO, Gerd Janson, tINI and more also spin through the summer.
The Ark cruise festival has announced the final acts to join its 90-strong line-up, including Cocoon boss Sven Väth, techno punk Boys Noize and the UK's Richy Ahmed and a DJ set from 2ManyDJs.
Taking place from Thursday 31st August to Sunday 3rd September, The Ark will see 4000 ravers sail around the Mediterranean — between Barcelona, Marseille and Ibiza — all the while partying to the sounds of the world's top DJs.
MDRNTY Cruise has announced the second wave of acts for its maiden voyage and will see the like of Ben Klock, Blond-ish and Alex Niggemann joining an already stacked line-up aboard the MSC Magnifica, a 294m cruise ship.
The floating festival’s maiden voyage sets sail from Genoa, Italy on Saturday 16th September with stop-offs in Mallorca, Ibiza and Barcelona before heading back to Genoa.
The line-up now includes Marco Carola, Sven Vath, Solomun and Loco Dice, who are behind Ibiza's four biggest underground parties (Music On, Cocoon, Solomun +1 & Hyte).
Chris Liebing also makes his debut at the Romanian festival, while Jamie Jones and Dubfire will be making a return.
The house and techno line-up will spin at the 10,000-capacity Polyvalent Hall indoor arena.
MDRNTY Cruise, setting sail 16th-20th September 2017, has revealed the line-up for their Cocoon stage, featuring boss man Sven Väth, alongside label regulars Ilario Alicante, Sonja Moonear and more.
Mathew Jonson, Andre Galluzzi, Anthea, Christian Burkhardt, Dana Ruh, Fabe, Markus Fix and Tim Green are also part of the Cocoon showcase, with over 40 more names and additional stage hosts set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The five-day cruise embarks from Genova, travelling to Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza, before heading back to Genova.
