BT Phobos is the new cinematic synth from Spitfire Audio and Producer BT

Virtual instruments don't get much better...

Spitfire Audio have now ventured into the plugin market with their latest release, BT Phobos, created in collaboration with producer and technologist, BT (real name: Brain Transeau).

Brian is known for his seminal trance hits from back in the day, as well as providing soundtracks for many Hollywood blockbusters, and has now joined forces with Spitfire Audio to create a “polyconvolution” synth, utilising a massive 20GB sample library of BT’s sounds that can be morphed in millions of different ways by the Spitfire audio engine.

The core of the synth uses polyconvolution synthesis — a new synth engine created by BT — that can create ambient textures which can be smooth and delicate or abrasive and aggressive.

BT Phobos is perfect for producers looking for something different to bolster their sound-making arsenal — check it out in more detail below.
