Korg has revealed a "cutting-edge" virtual reality iteration of its online production studio.

Gadget VR, which was first teased back in 2021, has been developed with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine and comes equipped with six studio instruments: the London PCM drum module, the Miami Monophonic synth, the Kiev spatial digital synth, the Chiang Mai phase modulation synth, the Kingston chip synth, and the Warszawa wavetable synth.

Korg Gadget is already available on Mac, as a plug in, and on Nintendo Switch. It's now compatible with a Meta Quest 2/Pro headset that arranges the gadgets in a 360° setup. Watch a demo video below.

The Korg Gadget VR software is available to download for £25. Find out more here.

Korg has also announced an update to its Wavestate synth series in the form of a new 61-key version of the synth, the Wavestate SE, as well as a limited-edition silver model called the Wavestate SE Platinum. The brand has also released five new Wavestate soundpacks and is running a 50% off sale until 20th July.
