TEACHERS is a new short film (clocking in at exactly 9:09) with a special mix by CK303, celebrating the Chicago roots of Daft Punk on the 25th anniversary of their seminal 1997 album 'Homework'.

Directed by Dave Tynan and cut by Michael Donnelly to CK303’s new mix, the film TEACHERS is constructed from archive material and showcases extraordinary mid-90s footage of the legendary Chicago dance crew House-o-Matics.

The film seeks to educate and inform the wider world of dance music about the key role that Chicago artists and DJs played in Daft Punk's evolution. It is a celebration of the Black heritage of the music that influenced the French duo’s first album 25 years ago. TEACHERS is dedicated to Paul Johnson, the first artist named on Daft Punk’s Teachers, who passed last year.
