Calvin Harris has been turned into a wax statue

.... in New York’s Madame Tussauds...

Calvin Harris has been turned into wax.

Yes, the Scottish producer – and highest paid DJ in the world – has been given his very own life-sized wax replica, displayed in Madame Tussauds, New York.

Harris’ replica can be found in the Time Square-based museum as part of its Silent Summer Club Series where visitors will be able to attend three silent discos in which they’ll listen to electronic music on headphones while dancing and/or staring at the static figure. Terrifying.

Harris joins the likes of Steve Aoki and Martin Garrix as yet another DJ who has had a waxen clone made in his likeness.

The corporeal Calvin Harris that you know as being made of flesh and blood and synthesisers has been busy too. He recently announced that he’ll be playing three dates in Pacha this summer. Recently, he went on BBC 1 to vocally imitate the drops of some of his biggest tracks and it was pretty funny.
