Molten Moods will drop their latest compilation, ‘Molten Moods 16’, later this week. Listen exclusively to Glaskin’s ‘Pace Chase’ below.

Out tomorrow, the collection celebrates the Munich label’s 10th anniversary with 21 tracks of sinuous, experimental electronica from across the roster. Welded together by a dark, mechanical aesthetic, ‘Molten Moods 16’ traverses an intricate network of techno, deconstructed club, and bass music, with dabs of electro, ambient, and even jazz.

Industrial club weapons come from the likes of QNRG and Nothus & Cressida, who layer up trampling techno rhythms with bass swoops on ‘Bipolar’ and ‘Nightshade’ respectively, while Munich local Polygonia takes things deeper with the psych-tinged ‘Orenda’.

Elsewhere, German DJ and production duo Glaskin crank up the peak-time NRG with lean drums and playful subby pulses on ‘Pace Chase’, and MM label boss Jonas Yamer links up with Berliner Rosa Anschütz for a gothic, vocal-led mover (‘Save Me’).

“With this track we tried to keep it as minimalistic as possible and use just the right amount of elements necessary to make you move on the dancefloor,” Glaskin said of their contribution. “It has a high-energy feel to it and is perfect for a peak time moment!”

These dark and eclectic soundscapes continue to unfurl across the compilation – which also features contributions from the likes of Kareem El Morr, Tapefeed, GAEL, Ferdinger, Nova Cheq, and more – as Molten Moods toast a decade of transcendental club music.

‘Molten Moods 16’ is out tomorrow (10th November). Pre-order the compilation here, and listen exclusively to Glaskin’s ‘Pace Chase’ below.
