Spray will release his latest EP, ‘OT Rails’, next month via his own label. Have an exclusive first listen to the title track below.

The Irish DJ and producer follows February’s ‘VT Trad’ EP for Kalahari Oyster Cult with three nimble, proggy groovers on his eponymous imprint. Landing 13th November, ‘OT Rails’ flaunts Spray’s ear for raw-edged rave bangers, and will mark the final release on the label after two years and five gloriously unique projects.

The opening title track stitches wistful synth work into skittering drums for maximum lobe-tickling, while A2 ‘Ceathair’ rides the arc of the night with bouncy breaks and a devilish pan flute motif. On the flip, Spray links up with Berliner Baraka for the lucid, tech-trance trip ‘Think of Me’ – rounding out a belated but burly label debut from the Irish polymath.

“Excited to close out the Spray label project with my own record,” the producer shared on Instagram, “and with a collaboration with my current favs @barakasound.”

Previous releases on the imprint include the ‘Leisureplex’ two-tracker from Dublin’s Drua, a reissue from Dimension 23, featuring a remix from Or:la, and most recently, Marijn S’s debut EP, ‘Under The Lily Pads’.

Since announcing the closure of Spray, the DJ and producer has teased that a potential new label project is in the works, sharing a cryptic link to the Instagram page, Punctuality Records.

‘OT Rails’ lands on 13th November via Spray. Pre-order the EP here, and listen exclusively to the title track below.
