Baby Weight has reunited with Karnage Kills for a brand new single, ‘My Heart’, out via Part Four Records. Check it out below.

Released on Friday (4th August), the track pairs a typically chunky UKG beat with an emotive flow from rising British MC/rapper, Karnage Kills.

The duo have previously collaborated on tracks including ‘House Princess’, released earlier this year on Insomniac, and their most recent team-up, ‘Ya Know’, released in April via Never Worry Records.

Reflecting on the new single on Instagram, Karnage Kills shared: “This one hits deep. Remember sitting looking out the balcony window at night, after my ex had packed his things and left (getting me back for all the times I did it to him) so toxic. This was only the middle of years of what I can only describe as a dysfunctional relationship.”

He continued: “I sent the acapella to @babyweightmusic and when she sent it back I almost cried. Never been so mooooved by a beat before. It makes me wanna dance, cry, take off my clothes and run through the streets.”

Earlier this year, Baby Weight shared a two-track solo EP, ‘It’s Giving’ via HE.SHE.THEY. Speaking on the B-side track, ‘Persist’, the producer and label head said she was “tired” of “all the bigotry and shitty comments some people make towards me and other queer people in dance music spaces. Both of these tracks are essentially a call-to-arms.”

Baby Weight — who was included in DJ Mag’s emerging artist you need to hear list earlier this year — also featured on the ‘Dome of Doom Spring Compilation’, alongside other underground artists from the label’s class of ‘23, including Daedalus, AHEE, DMVU, and ZOF.

‘My Heart’ is out now on Part Four Records. Listen to it below.
