Beastie Boys announce vinyl reissue of 'Hello, Nasty' for 25th anniversary

Beastie Boys' 1998 album 'Hello, Nasty' is getting a vinyl reissue for its 25th anniversary.

The New York hip-hop trio's fifth studio album – which featured singles including 'Intergalactic' and 'Body Movin'' – will be reissued in the rare quadruple-vinyl deluxe edition, originally released in 2009. The box set, out 8th September, includes two discs with 21 cuts of remixes (one by Fatboy Slim), B-sides and live versions in addition to the 22-track original album. It's pressed on 180g vinyl and packaged up in a book-style quad-jacket.

In 2022, Beastie Boys celebrated the 30th anniversary of their third studio album 'Check Your Head' with a limited-edition box set and colour-vinyl reissues.

Last July, Beastie Boys were honoured with their own street name in New York City, with Beastie Boys Square sitting on the corner of Rivington Street and Ludlow Street (depicted on the cover their 1989 LP 'Paul's Boutique') on the Lower East Side.
