Björk reveals 'Utopia' release date and album artwork

She prepares her Tinder record for a November release...

Björk has revealed her ninth studio album ‘Utopia’ will be released 24th November. The album is co-produced by Arca.

Accompanying the release date was the album’s official artwork. “Thank you for telepathically getting me,” praises Björk of the creative team led by Jesse Kanda. Kanda and Björk were assisted by James Merry and “Berlin based original ethereal drag slag” Hungry.

Björk previousy referred to the new full-length effort as her “Tinder album”. Lead single ‘The Gate’ was made available in mid-September.

The album update arrives after a somber October for Björk. The Icelandic artist sharing details about the sexual harassment and intimidation she experienced while on the set of DANCER IN THE DARK.
