Deadmau5 to headline NYE party as Testpilot

Deadmau5 is enjoying quite an end to 2017. Not content with collaborating with fledgling R&B producers or raising money for children’s hospitals, the Canadian superstar is now adopting his Testpilot show for a special New Year show. 

Going down at Brooklyn nightclub Depot 52, the event will see the mau5 billed on the same line-up as Dennis Ferrer and Tensnake, two DJs he’s perhaps not as familiar with as his EDM peers. 

Nonetheless, it should all make for a fascinating spectacle. After all, deadmau5’s ability to veer between genres is one of his undoubted skills, while he’s hardly been one to shirk a new challenge either. What’s more, the warehouse vibes of Depot 52 should prove a fertile stomping ground, with underground luminaries such as The Martinez Brothers, Solomun, Loco Dice and more having all played the Brooklyn venue of late.
