Dialled In announces live show with Pakistan’s Jaubi at London’s Union Chapel

Dialled In has invited Pakistani band Jaubi to London for a live show this summer.

Taking place 18th August at Islington venue Union Chapel, the Lahore-based group will be joined by 22a founder and flautist Tenderlonious and pianist Marek Pędziwiatr to perform material from their 2020 improvisational project 'Ragas From Lahore'. Also joining them will be Rhythm Section affiliate the 30/70 collective's bassist Horatio Luna and Ruby Rushton drummer Tim Carnegie.

Dialled In, a collaboration by Daytimers, No ID and Chalo, will host a stage at Four Tet's upcoming Finsbury Park takeover on 13th August, a few days after Jaubi's live show. Anish Kumar, Arthi, Gracie T and Manara are among those set to play. In April, they put on a one-day festival at Hackney venue EartH with the likes of Anoushka Shankar, Shivum Sharma, Anu, SUCHI and Yung Singh.
