Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, more star as Lego figures in trailer for Pharrell Williams movie: Watch
The Piece by Piece film is a Pharrell Williams biopic "told through the lens of LEGO"
A host of A-listers have been turned into Lego figures for a new film chronicling the life of Pharrell Williams, Piece By Piece. You can watch the trailer for it below.
Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani and Timbaland are among the stars who appear as Lego figures in the forthcoming movie from Focus Features.
"Told through the lens of LEGO®, Piece By Piece invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams," according to Focus Features.
The production company is a a subsidiary of Universal Pictures, who secured the rights to Lego in 2020. Directed by Morgan Neville, the film opens in cinemas on 11th October and has been co-produced by Williams.
Earlier this year, Hungarian designer Tamás Borján created a Lego version of the staple KRK Rokit studio speakers. Borján, who designs his Lego creations as Tomasso Builds, has also reimagined the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus, DJM 900 Nexus and Sennheiser HD25 DJ headphones as Lego.
Meanwhile, Williams is currently involved in a legal dispute with Neptunes' bandmate Chad Hugo over the rights to trademark their joint production project's name.
