Korg’s Gadget music-making software is coming to Nintendo Switch

Is this the Music 2000 revival we've all been waiting for?

Korg’s music making software Gadget is coming to Nintendo’s new portable console Switch. Coming in June 2018 and coded for the Switch by Japanese developers Detune Ltd, Gadget is set to include all the synths, drum machines and functionality we’re used to on the iOS and desktop versions.

Consoles and music-making tools have a long history with Nintendo’s Mario Paint, Codemaster’s Music 2000 and more recently Korg brought their MS-10 clone to Nintendo DS.

It’s an intriguing side step for Korg, who’ve become increasingly innovative and how Swtich’s portable and dock-able controller is used within Gadget could be very interesting.
