LA party series Fast At Work will launch its own imprint with an EP from co-founder and resident Carré.

The five-track inaugural project – titled ‘Soft Fascination – lands on 1st March, and will feature three new tracks from Carré, alongside remixes from Priori and James Bangura on the flip.

Embodying the DIY ethos and leftfield productions that the party brand has become synonymous with, the release delicately balances murky low-end with broken-beat percussion. Lead single ‘Glowing’ is available for purchase now via Bandcamp with a pre-order of the EP.

Speaking on the project, Carré shared: “Fast At Work has always been about creating a platform for our crew and community to experience the left-field music we love in uniquely produced environments that exudes a sense of DIY creativity. The label and EP are deeply personal to me for this reason and came together in the same organic way as everything else.”

“‘Glowing’ and ‘Cute Mad’ were produced around the same time and never felt like they could fit on the same EP,” she continued, “but when I finished ‘Soft Fascination’ I knew that I had accidentally created a cohesive body of work that could lead the label.”

The release follows Carré’s debut EP, ‘Titled’, which arrived on SPE:C last year, as well as her contribution to UFO Parfums’ 15-track ‘165 BPMs’ compilation, ‘How to Cause a Distraction’.

‘Soft Fascination’ is out 1st March. Check out  a snippet of the EP, and the full track 'Glowing', below.
