Lord Of The Isles is linking up with Scottish poet Ellen Renton for a new album, ‘My Noise is Nothing’, on AD 93.

Arriving 29th September, the album follows the duo’s 2020 collaboration on the ‘Whities 029’ EP, and includes seven tracks that explore the current state of our existence.

Sonically, ‘My Noise is Nothing’ combines the unfurling production of Lord Of The Isles –  the alias of Edinburgh sound artist, Neil McDonald – with acclaimed poetry from Ellen Renton, which was written during 2020 and captures something of that vulnerable time.

In December, Lord Of The Isles made his debut on Lapsus Records with his fourth studio album, ‘Subtle Thoughts’. The Barcelona-based imprint boasts an experimental catalogue of releases from the likes of Surgeons GirlWordcolour, Delay Grounds, Earth Trax, Pépe, and more.

‘My Noise is Nothing’ is available to pre-order on AD 93 here. Listen to the title track below.
