Luciano to reopen Camden’s legendary Koko venue next week

Legendary Camden venue Koko is reopening next week after a major renovation project and devastating fire more than two years ago.

For the first time since March 2019, Koko will host a weekend full of shows, first with Arcade Fire on Friday, 29th April, Luciano next up on Saturday night and Central Cee will close out the weekend with two shows on Sunday.

On 6th January 2020, the Victorian theatre suffered a devastating fire in the midst of a restoration and renovation project that was nearly two months from completion. Nearly 30% of the building's roof was affected by the blaze. In the end, the extensive redevelopment project of the historic venue totalled £70 million.

Following reopening weekend celebrations, Koko will host the likes of Honey Dijon, Patrice Rushen, PC Music, Kerri Chandler, Overmono, Chase & Status, Moses Sumney, Jayda G, Mulatu Astatke, Todd Terje, 2ManyDJs, Scratcha DVA, Ibeyi and Jorja Smith.
