MUSIC DOCUMENTARY '808' GETS USA CINEMA RELEASE

Plus you can get it on iTunes & Apple Music later this year...

iTunes and Apple Music are both set to release music documentary '808' later this year — a film that tracks the history of the iconic Roland TR-808.

Produced by You Know Films' Alex Noyer and famed musician Arthur Baker, the film will also drop in US cinemas later this year and features cameos from New Order, Diplo, Goldie, David Guetta, Richie Hawtin, Rick Rubin and many more.

“I’m very proud on behalf of the whole You Know Films team to see ‘808′ find its release on Apple Music,” said Alex Noyer. “For our film to be offered as their first narrative music documentary is very humbling. The 808 continues to make history.”

DJ Mag got a sneak peek at the film last year — trust us when we say, it's well worth a watch!
