Nia Archives puts jungle spin on Yeah Yeah Yeahs with new single, 'Off Wiv Ya Headz': Watch the video
The track started life as an edit for a Halloween set at last year's Warehouse Project
Nia Archives has shared a brand new single, 'Off Wiv Ya Headz'.
The track comes a week on from the UK producer playing a supporting slot for Beyoncé in London, and sees her putting a jungle spin on Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 2009 track 'Heads Will Roll', which was famously remixed by A-Trak. Nia Archives' version of the song has been a fixture of her recent sets, having played it at festivals such as Primavera Sound and Love Saves The Day over the last month.
Speaking about the track, Nia Archives said: "I wanted to make a spooky edit for Warehouse Project last Halloween and this is what I came up with. I love the A-Trak remix and I just wanted a jungle version of it."
Dropping alongside the single is a DIY video produced, directed and edited by Nia Archives herself featuring VHS camera footage from her recent trip to New York for a show. You can watch it below.
The release of 'Off Wiv Ya Headz' comes after the artist recently put out a remix package for her 'Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall' EP featuring reworks by Special Request, Mall Grab and others.
The original 'Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall' EP was released in March.
