Richie Culver announces new album, ‘Scream If You Don’t Exist’, shares Moor Mother collaboration and video: Watch

His forthcoming LP will drop at the end of November via Participant Records

Richie Culver has teamed up with Moor Mother on a new track and shared a new video.

Richie Culver has shared the details of his new album, 'Scream If You Don't Exist', alongside a new collaboration with Moor Mother. Listen to that, and watch the video for the album's title track, below.

Set for release on 24th November via Participant Records, 'Scream If You Don't Exist' follows the Hull-born multidisciplinary artist’s 2022 album 'I Was Born By The Sea'. A remix collection for that album featuring the likes of Aho Ssan, Space AfrikaRainy Miller and Blackhaine was released earlier this year.

Expanding on the sounds from his previous work, Culver’s second album blends explores elements of "grimdark drone, industrial noise, experimental hip-hop and UK rave" and also features a collaboration with New York rapper billy woods.

According to the album's accompanying text, 'Scream If You Don't Exist' also expands on the themes of his previous release. "While on his debut, 'I Was Born By The Sea', Culver took a last glimpse back at his grey, salt-flecked past while struggling towards somewhere brighter, here, he documents the process of finding fresh waters, parsing through the complexity of inhabiting a more open and optimistic place while contending with the weight of his resolve, staring hard won self-acceptance in the face."

Watch the title track's accompanying video, directed by Mau Morgo, below. It forms part of a series of visuals created by Morgo, Josiane M.H Pozi, William Markarian-Martin, Simon Bus, and Bruxism.

A second track from the LP, ‘Restaurants ft Moor Mother’, has also been released. Listen to that below.

Last year, Philadelphia’s Moor Mother and DJ Haram teamed up to release ‘Nothing To Declare’ under the 700 Bliss alias. Revisit DJ Mag's review of the album here.
