Rihanna announces visual autobiography

The 504-page book features more than 1000 photos

While fans continue to wait for news of a new album, Rihanna has announced details of a "visual autobiography" called, simply, 'Rihanna'.

The book covers 504 pages and will include over 1000 "intimate” photos of Rihanna’s “life as a musician, performer, designer, and entrepreneur,” a press release says.

“I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images,” Rihanna says of the book. “I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years, and I’m really happy to be able to finally share it with everybody."

'Rihanna' will be released via publisher Phaidon later this year.

Rihanna's last album, 'ANTI', came out in 2016. Earlier this year, she was named the richest female musician in the world by Forbes.
