Roland and V-MODA launch 808 headphones

Roland have teamed up with V-MODA to create some 808-inspired headphones for 808 day. The cans – which feature a decal of the same colour concepts of the classic drum machine – have the same innards as their famous and popular M-100s – which are used by DJs and producers in the studio. 

To celebrate the special day – August 8th, in case you missed that – Roland have also launched a special microsite celebrating the birth, history and influence of the low-end legend. They've also released a new mini-documentary with influential 808 users Larry Smith Jr., Rashad Smith, and Iz Avila sit down with Roland to discuss the lore of Larry's personal TR-808. Check the microsite here and watch the video below.
