Seattle-based DJ and producer, Subset has been reported missing after failing to show up for his gig at Q nightclub last Wednesday (22nd November).

Subset, whose real name is Mark Martinez, was last seen at 4:13PM (PST) that same night in Tacoma, Washington according to a Facebook group created to provide updates on his disappearance. His family, along with The Seattle Police Department, have urgently appealed for information on the DJ's whereabouts.

“You can reach out to me or if you have any sightings/tips/info reach out to the Seattle police,” Martinez’ sister Diane wrote in the Facebook group. “Thank you so much. I will post the most accurate info here that I can. I need to find my brother. I will literally do anything.”

On a poster shared by friends and family, Martinez is described as being 6ft 2 and weighing approximately 185lbs (84kg). He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a number of identifying tattoos – including an Arizona iced tea tattoo on one forearm, a Monopoly-themed tattoo on his alternate forearm, and birds tattooed elsewhere on his right arm. The poster also notes that Martinez could be driving his Black Toyota RAV4 vehicle with the number plate, THNK FL4.

Martinez, 35, has performed at Burning Man, Camp Bisco and Shipwrecked, among other major events, and is a former resident at New York’s legendary Webster Hall, where he hosted and curated the nightspot’s BASSment Saturdays parties. He also regularly streams on Twitch (@SubsetGetsIt) to over 13k followers, playing marathon DJ sets that have been known to extend upwards of 24+ hours.

If you have any information on Martinez’ whereabouts, please contact Seattle PD on 206-787-3490.
