SUCHI has announced a new EP on !K7, titled ‘Ghungroo'. Listen to the first single, ‘Blåmerke’, below.

Slated for release on 15th March, ‘Ghungroo’ marks the DJ and producer's debut for the label, and follows her ‘Birdy Bell’ EP, which dropped on Spectral Sound last July

The title of the EP pays homage to the Oslo-raised, Delhi-influenced producer's early years. It is named after the small metallic bells worn by classical Indian dancers. ‘Blåmerke’ translates to “bruise” in Norwegian, SUCHI’s native language. The four-track EP will also include a remix of Blåmerke by the Munich-based producer, Sam Goku.

SUCHI featured on DJ Mag's Fresh Kicks mix and interview series back in 2022, delivering a "deep, percussive, bassy, and hypnotic selection with touches of euphoria." You can read the full feature and listen to the mix here

SUCHI is set to host her first Ikke Sant party at The Pickle Factory in London on 17th February – you can get your tickets here.

'Ghungroo' will be available in both digital and on eco-friendly, PVR-free, 100% recycled vinyl. The EP is available for pre-order now.
